Cozy Couch Crew
A soft place to land for disabled and chronically ill therapists.
Join today!Welcome to Your Couch
Being a therapist can feel isolating, especially when you're navigating disability or chronic illness.
If you're in an agency, colleagues and supervisors may not understand your needs. Private practice offers more flexibility around your health needs, but can be lonely.
The Cozy Couch Crew is your invitation to take a breath, sink in, and know you're not alone.
This is a peer support and coaching community where rest, connection, and adaptability aren't just encouraged — they're celebrated.

Hi! My name is Lindsay Boudreau.
I am a social worker and run an amazing group practice.
I had an amputation in 2014 due to injury and infection. In 2019, I was finally diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth, a condition that slowly worsened over time.
Agency work became increasingly difficult, and sometimes, ADA requests were denied or revoked (hello, March 2020). I realized I had the power to stay in a field I love while retaining my social justice lens. My work needed to work for me. Some of the clinicians in my practice also have chronic illnesses and/or disabilities. The way I approached my practice was how I wanted my team to experience.
I dreamt up The Cozy Couch Crew to expand the work I do with my clients and team.
What if I’m new to therapy or still in training?
Do I need to have my own practice?
I don’t have a lot of energy — will I be able to keep up?
Can I cancel anytime?
